I grew up in Census Bureau Region 3 and now live in Region 2.
The things that I used to do:
Dog walking, fast food restaurant service (two tours), bookstore retail (two tours), pizza delivery (two tours), radio DJ (three tours), radio and television broadcast production (two tours), newspaper packaging and distribution (two tours), office clerking (life insurance, student loan consolidation), environmental nonprofit customer service, roller derby officiating (non-skating), grocery co-op retail (many roles), cat shelter care and feeding, inventory services, and office management (organic certification).
For many years I was a precinct-level election official.
These days I’m a worker bee. I’m also a union steward.
